The sub tabs also provide continuously updated proximity waypoint alarms that can be used to define items, such as submerged hazards or shallow waters. Proximity Sub Tab Use the Proximity sub tab on the Points tab to define an alarm circle around a stored waypoint. The alarm circle can help you avoid reefs, rocks, or restricted waters. You can add proximity alarms to up to 10 waypoints, with a maximum alarm radius of 99. 99 nautical or statute miles or kilometers.
