Returning to the Scene selection menu
Pan-Capture Panorama
Panorama mode allows you to create a panoramic picture. The camera will automatically compose a panoramic picture using the individual shots that you take. Follow these steps to create a panoramic picture: 1. Turn the mode dial to the Panorama Stitching Mode. Then enter the Still menu to Select either Auto Stitching or Manual Stitching (Please refer to Page53 to enter the Still menu. )

Use"StitchingMode"selectedfromtheMenu. When Using Auto Stitching: Afterthefirstshotistaken, thecamerawillmakea calculationandtwoiconswillappearontheLDCscreen. Oncetheyappear, movethecameraandthecircleicon onthescreenwillmovewiththesceneryuntilitreaches thesquareframeicon. Whencircleiconandsquare framebecomegreen, thecamerawilltakepictures automaticallyandfinishthestitching.
When Using Manual Stitching: Afterthefirstshotistaken, thesemi-transparentimage ofthefirstshotwillappearattheedgeofthescreen. Youcanusethisimagetocomposeyourpicturebefore youpresstheshutterbuttontofinishmanualstitching.
6. Thecamerawillthenstitchthepicturesintoa panoramaautomatically. Turnthemodedialtoplaybackmodetoviewthe panoramicpicture.

While in panorama mode, press the button to save images and exit panorama shooting. Press the button to discard images and exit. Flash mode, self-timer, macro mode, and exposure compensation cannot be adjusted after the first picture is taken.
