Replace if necessary. 311075K 33 Troubleshooting Troubleshooting Chart PROBLEM Reactor E-10 does not operate. Cycle Motor Power off then on Motor does not operate. Power turned on with function knob set to a run position. , to reset breaker. Set function knob to Stop/Park , then select desired func- Loose connection on control board. Worn brushes. Fan not working. Broken or misaligned brush springs. Brushes or springs binding in brush holder. Check motor commutator for burn spots, black pitting, or other damage. Check connection at J11 (120 V) or J4 (240 V). Replace brushes worn to less than 1/2 in. Clean brush holder and align brush leads for free movement. Have motor shop resurface commutator, or replace motor, page 51. Check that cable is connected at fan and at J9 on control board. Leaking or plugged piston valve or intake valve in displacement pump. Pump intake valve plugged or stuck open. One side doesn't come up to pressure in spray mode. Clean or repair, page 40. See page 41. 34 311075K Troubleshooting PROBLEM Pressure is higher on one side when setting pressure with function knob. CAUSE Pump intake valve partially plugged. SOLUTION Clean pump intake valve. Use matching hoses, or balance pressures before spraying. Change temperature setting to balance viscosities. Change restrictor at mix point to balance back pressure. Clean mix module or restrictor at mix manifold. Unequal size hoses or unequal hose construction. Pressures are not balanced when Unequal viscosities.
