With its fiber-ready architecture, the 8943RDA-DFR can be configured as a fiber receiver, providing two fiber optic inputs that can be mapped to feed seven electrical outputs (in output pairs). The two fiber optic inputs are both active along with the dedicated electrical inputs. This makes the module ideal where redundant feeds are used. Using the dual transmitter fiber option, this module can distribute two additional fiber outputs as well as the seven electrical outputs (in output pairs) allowing it to feed both local and remote locations simultaneously. This can also provide redundant fiber feeds. With the transceiver option, the 8943RDADFR makes a flexible DA ready for either fiber in or fiber out applications.
