CD FLASH PROG TUNER AUX RESET
The hi-fi system is designed for the playback of audio signals. If you want to set up the hi-fi system on wall shelves or in cupboards, please ensure that it is adequately ventilated. There must be at least 10 cm of space at the side, above and behind the hi-fi system. Do not cover the hi-fi system with newspapers, table cloths, curtains, etc.

When setting up the hi-fi and the subwoofer, remember that furniture is often coated with various types of varnish and plastic, which often contain chemical additives. [. . . ] If you select radio, you will be woken with the radio station last selected. The AUX input source is not available for the alarm mode.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS________________________
Switching on and off
1 Switch on the hi-fi system from standby mode by pressing »ON OFF« on the subwoofer. Switch the hi-fi system on from standby mode by pressing » ON/OFF«. Display: briefly »Welcome«. The last input source used is automatically selected. Note: You can switch on the hi-fi system from standby mode directly by pressing »TUNER«, »CD«, »FLASH« or »AUX«.

Switch the hi-fi system on from standby mode by pressing » ON/OFF«. Display: briefly »Good bye«. Switch off the hi-fi system by pressing »ON OFF« on the subwoofer. Note: The device is connected to the mains with the power cord. Pull out the power plug when you want to completely disconnect the device from the mains.

Selecting the input source

Press »TUNER«, »CD«, »FLASH« or »AUX« to select the input source. Display: »TUNER«, »READING CD«, »READING FLASH« or »AUX IN«.
Adjusting the volume
1 Press »+ z « to adjust the volume. Display: briefly »VOL« (scale »MIN«, »01« to »30«, »MAX«).
Selecting sound settings
POP
You can choose between the preset sound settings »FLAT«, »POP«, »ROCK« and »JAZZ«. 1 Select the sound setting you want by pressing »EQ« as often as necessary.

Setting the treble and bass
You can adjust the level of the bass and treble separately. 1 To set the bass or treble level, press » BASS +« or » TREBLE +« on the remote control as often as necessary. Display: scale »-3« to »+3«.

Muting
You can switch the hi-fi speakers to and from mute mode with this function. 1 Press »MUTE« on the remote control to switch the sound on and off. Display: »MUTE« for muting.

Displaying the time
You can display the time briefly in radio, CD, USB or AUX modes. 1 To display the time, press »CLOCK« on the hi-fi system or » « on the remote control.
Resetting the hi-fi system
You can return the hi-fi system to its original settings. 1 Reset the hi-fi by pressing »Reset« on the back of the hi-fi system using an implement, for example a paper clip. All the stored radio stations, the time and the alarm times will be deleted.

1 Press »TUNER« to select TUNER as the input source. The most recently selected channel is activated (Last Station Memory). Display: for example, »FM 100. 60MHz« or »ENERGY«.
