If you should have difficulties in operating it, we recommend that you consult this user manual. To operate the device safely and easily, please read the following sections carefully:
Application information

Setting the contrast

ALARM
Set the time and date
If the base unit is not connected to the mains supply, the date and time settings revert to 01. Go to »Menu« / »Alarm/Clock« / »Clock Setting«. Enter the new time in the format Hours: minutes, then enter the new date in the format DD-MM-YY. Remark: In the event of an error during entry, the last number can be edited by pressing the »Esc« key.

Setting the alarm
The alarm function allows the handset's ring to be activated every day at a time that you programme. When the alarm is activated, the selected ring is heard for 60 seconds through the headset's speaker and an alarm screen is displayed. Stop the alarm by pressing a handset key. Go to »Menu« / »Alarm/Clock« / »Alarm Setting«.

An information display shows informations about the alarm: - the time when the handset will ring: press »Edit« to set the time when you want the handset to ring. - alarm status: press the »OK« key to activate/deactivate the alarm. - the alarm melody: press the »OK« key, select the melody using the » « or » « key. Setting the handset volume
You can set the earpiece and Speaker (hands-free) volume separately. Go to »Menu« / »Sound Setting« / »Handset Volume«. To adjust the earpiece volume select »Earpiece«. To adjust the Speaker volume select »Speaker«. Set the desired volume by pressing » « or » the selection by pressing the »OK« key. « and confirm

ANSWERING MACHINE
Remote control operation When remote control and the answering machine are both activated, enter the PIN code when the outgoing message is being played back in order to access the answering machine. A long audible confirmation signal is heard telling you that the connection has been established.
