Using the charging unit 1 Put socket D of the appliance into the charging unit. 2 Plug the power cord into the socket on the charging unit. 3 Plug the power supply unit into the wall socket.
When switched off, the charging time is about 8-10 hours. If you switch on the appliance while it is charging, charging will stop. The charging display C disappears.

Mains operation (with the power supply unit)
Check if the mains voltage on the type plate of the power supply unit supplied corresponds to your local mains supply. The only way to disconnect the device from the mains is to unplug the power supply unit. 1 Plug the power supply unit into the D socket on the appliance. 2 Plug the power supply unit into the wall socket. Caution 7 When in the bathroom or beside a water connection, only use the appliance in battery mode; never run it from the mains.

Special features
This appliance has four separate functions: Function 1: for precise and smooth beard trimming at a width of 25 mm. Function 2: for cutting fine lines at a width of 14 mm. Function 3: for beard trimming with various cutting lengths (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 mm) at widths of 25 mm or 14 mm. 1 If required, remove the attachment by pressing down both thumbs on the front of the attachment and pushing back. 2 Insert the ceramic cutting head A at the back with the guide tab and press it down with your thumbs until it clicks into place. 3 Place a towel around your neck and shoulders.
Function 1 Beard trimming
Using the ceramic cutting head A (width 25 mm).
Switching on/off
1 Press the B button to switch on the appliance. 2 If you want to switch to turbo speed, press and hold down F . 3 Press the B button to switch off the appliance.

4 Loosen the beard hair by combing the beard in the direction the hair grows. Note 7 Press and hold down switch F to use the turbo speed for removing any unwanted hair before you begin styling.
Function 2 Cutting fine lines
Using the trimming attachment G (width 14 mm).
1 If required, remove the attachment by pressing down both thumbs on the front of the attachment and pushing back. 2 Insert the trimming attachment G at the back with the guide tab and press it down with your thumbs until it clicks into place.

Function 3 Trimming beards at certain cutting lengths
Using the extendable attachment H . 3 Pull the extendable attachment H from behind, with the combs over the cutting head and let it click into the locking tab. 4 Adjust the cutting length (2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 mm) by pressing on the lock under the cutting length display and then move the comb to the setting you want.
1 If required, remove the attachment by pressing down both thumbs on the front of the attachment and pushing back. [. . . ] 3 Make sure the appliance is kept out of reach of children.
