Please observe the local regulations for disposing of the packing material. [. . . ] Note: When you switch the anti-shock system on or off, playback is delayed or briefly interrupted. Since the anti-shock system requires more power, it is advisable to switch off the function as long as there are no problems with playback, in order to prolong the life of the batteries.

CD playback
1 Press » PLAY/PAUSE II« to start playback. Display: »10 SEC« (or »40 SEC«), then the number of tracks and total CD playing time (for example »15 57:i5«) followed by the first track and the playing time of that track. Playback begins with the first track. To pause playback, press » PLAY/PAUSE II«. Press » 3 PLAY/PAUSE II« to resume playback. Press » STOP I« to end playback. Note: Playback stops automatically when the end of the CD is reached, if the CD compartment is opened or if the batteries run out.
