The anti-shock system ensures uninterrupted music playback even during sporting activities and under extreme conditions. To do this, the anti-shock system is equipped with: ­ A signal processor which correctly detects the data even when the CD is revolving unevenly ­ A laser control system which permanently monitors the reading track of the laser and immediately corrects even the most minor deviations ­ A 45-second digital memory which cuts in immediately after unusually hard shocks. 15 ENGLISH SAFETY___________________________________________________ °C °C Safety 2h To ensure that this device provides you with long-term satisfaction and enjoyment, please observe the following instructions: This device is designed for the playback of audio signals. Note: When you switch the anti-shock system on or off, playback is delayed or briefly interrupted. Since the anti-shock system requires more power, it is advisable to switch off the function as long as there are no problems with playback, in order to prolong the life of the batteries. 0 I 00 : I5 u 2 Press »DAS« to switch off the anti-shock system. CD playback 1 Press » PLAY/PAUSE II« to start playback. ­ Display: »45 SEC«, then the number of tracks and total CD playing time (for example »15 57:i5«) followed by the first track and the playing time of that track. ­ Playback begins with the first track. To pause playback, press » PLAY/PAUSE II«. Press » 3 PLAY/PAUSE II« to resume playback. Press » STOP I« to end playback.
