BATTERY REPLACEMENT When the unit cannot be switched on or the display segments fade, it is necessary to replace all 3 x 1. 5V batteries. Batteries should only be replaced in a safe area using the battery type specified in this instruction manual. Loosen the upper screw and slide off the cover on the back of the meter. Replace all three batteries while paying attention to their polarity. Reinsert the cover and tighten the screw. It is recommended to recalibrate the instrument whenever the batteries are replaced.
