[. . . ] The AVR25 has been custom-designed to provide all the excitement and detail of movie soundtracks and every nuance of musical selections. With onboard Dolby* Digital and DTS® decoding, the AVR25 delivers six discrete channels of audio that take advantage of the digital soundtracks from the latest DVD and LD releases and Digital Television broadcasts. While complex digital systems are hard at work within the AVR25 to make all of this happen, hookup and operation are simple. Color-keyed connections, a programmable remote control, and on-screen menus make the AVR25 easy to use. [. . . ] Once the button is pressed, FNT SPEAKER will appear in both the lower third of the video display and the Main Information Display Y. Within three seconds, either press the front panel < / > Selector buttons 5 or the //¤ buttons n on the remote to select a different speaker position, or press the Set button Ôp to begin the adjustment process for the front left and right speakers. When the Set button Ôp has been pressed and the system is ready for a change to the speaker setting, the on-screen display and Main Information Display Y will read FNT LARGE or FNT SMALL, depending on the current setting. To assist in making speaker configuration settings, the icons in the Speaker/Channel Input Indicators Q change as the speaker type is selected at each position. When only the center icon box containing the abbreviation for the speaker position is lit, the speaker is set for Figure 6 "small. Upon completion of the second circulation, the Program/SPL Indicator will flash green twice and then go out.
