TO INSTALL BATTERIES
Using Phillips screwdriver,  loosen screws in battery compartment cover (screws stay attached to cover). Insert 3 "D" alkaline batteries as indicated. Replace cover and tighten screws. 

TO CREATE LITE-BRITE PICTURES
The LITE-BRITE Flat Screen toy comes with over 200 pegs and 10 design pictures to make colorful,  light-up creations!1 Tear the picture sheets along the perforated lines and remove. 2 Place a picture sheet flat and straight on the peg screen. Position the sheet so that the star on each corner is next to a corner on the peg screen. Push a peg through the hole in each star to secure the picture to the screen.  [. . . ] Always remove weak or dead batteries from the product.
