To check the timer U, duration r or clock 0, press the 0 button repeatedly until the brackets are around the appropriate symbol. The value is shown for a few seconds in the display.
Setting a cooking time
You can set the oven to the cooking time for your dish. When the time has expired, the oven switches off automatically. This means that you do not have to stop what you are doing to switch off the oven. The cooking time will not be exceeded unintentionally. Example in the diagram: duration 45 minutes. Use the function selector to set the type of heating. Set the temperature or grill setting using the temperature selector. 20:00 is shown in the display The time symbols are lit and the brackets are around r.

In the display, you can see the timer counting down and the [r] symbol is lit. Deactivating the childproof lock Press and hold the D button for approximately four seconds. Childproof lock with automatic programming If automatic programming is set, the childproof lock does not work.

Changing the basic settings
Your appliance has various basic settings that you can change at any time.
Basic settings
The table lists all of the basic settings and the options for making changes. Prerequisite: Your appliance is switched off. Press and hold the 0 button for several seconds. The first basic setting appears in the display. Change the basic setting using the @ or A button. The next basic setting appears in the display. You can go through all of the basic settings with the 0 button and make changes with the @ or A button. Finally, press and hold the 0 button for a few seconds. You may change the settings at any time.
