After 24 hours, the function symbol will stop flashing and go back to being permanently lit; you can now insert the food to be frozen. Defrosting the freezer compartment If the frost layer is greater than 5 mm, it is necessary to defrost manually: 1. One day before enabling the SUPER FREEZE function in the 24-hour mode; it helps give the food a healthy extra "cold shock". After 24 hours, the freezing function is automatically disabled but you can disable it yourself. Turn the appliance off by turning the FREEZER OPERATION and APPLIANCE ON/OFF knob. This operation switches off the whole appliance (including the fridge compartment). Wrap frozen foods in newspaper and place them in another freezer or in a cool place.
