TO INSERT BATTERIES
Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen 3 screws in battery compartment door (screws remain attached to door). Insert 3 "D" alkaline batteries. Replace door and tighten screws.
Sleeptime Mode
At sleeptime, this toy can be used as a tabletop light show that plays 4 soothing lullabies.
1. Slide switch on underside of base to SLEEP Mode (moon). Remove lamp from base by pulling up handle while firmly holding down base. Place it on a bureau or tabletop at sleeptime. Press the pink center button to activate the toy. To turn the toy off while it is playing, simply press the center button again. Lights and music will automatically shut off after approximately 10 minutes.

1) Be sure to insert the batteries correctly and always follow the toy and battery manufacturers' instructions; 2) Do not mix old and new batteries or alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries; 3) Always remove weak or dead batteries from the product.
Note:
· Adjust sound level to HIGH or LOW using the volume switch on the underside of base. · When storing the toy, slide the On/Off switch to OFF to prevent accidental activation.

1. Slide the switch on the underside of base to the PLAY Mode (sun). Press the bar to start the fun: Captivating images scroll by on the glowing lamp as upbeat music plays. [. . . ] Fit new bulb into holder and refasten cap. Reinsert bulb holder assembly into unit, tighten bulb holder screws, reinsert batteries, refit battery compartment door and tighten screws.
