Setting a Print Hold code
The Print Hold code is used to print received faxes. Follow the steps below to set a Print Hold code.

Sending a fax when Report Before Transmission is enabled
Follow the steps below to send a fax when Report Before Transmission is enabled.

page 40) is set to "NO", or if Key Lock was turned on and you entered your user ID to unlock the machine, skip this step and go directly to Step 5.

Report Before Transmission (Advanced Security Function)
5 The machine will scan the
document into memory and then print a transmission report.
6 Check the transmission report.
If "CHECKER ID CHECK" (Step 5 on page 40) is set to "YES", ask another user to also check the report. If the information in the report is okay, insert the report face down in the document feeder. Important: Make sure the ink on the report has dried completely before inserting the report in the document feeder.
