THE LAMP
HIGH VOLTAGE HIGH TEMPERATURE HIGH PRESSURE Before replacing the lamp, check the serial number of the replacement lamp bulb (sold separately: DT00401 for CPS225/DT00461 for CPX275), then contact your local dealer. Before replacing the lamp, turn off the power, and unplug the power cord, then wait at least 45 minutes, in order to ensure that the lamp is properly cooled. Removing the lamp bulb while it is still hot could cause burns, or cause the lamp bulb to burst.
The LCD projector uses a glass lamp bulb. It is a mercury lamp with high internal pressure. [. . . ] Doing so is dangerous.
