Connecting this unit to any other power supply could result in damage to the unit which is not covered by your warranty. Batteries (not incl) · Open the battery compartment and insert 8x 1. 5V UM-1/D batteries with the correct polarity as indicated by the + and - symbols inside the compartment. Only use batteries of the same type for the set. When inserting new batteries, do not try to mix old batteries with the new ones. · Remove the batteries if the set is not to be used for a long time.

General controls
Switch on or off the unit
· Press STANDBY or off (standby mode). to turn the unit on or

· Rotate VOLUME - / + and press VOLUME UP/DN to adjust the sound level. The current returning to the previous display. Press EQ (Electronic Equalizer) repeatedly to select a preset equalizer mode (Flat, Classic, Rock, Pop and Jazz). The selected EQ mode icon shows at the bottom of the display. Press SLEEP repeatedly to select a desirable length of time (90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 minutes and OFF) before the unit turns off automatically.
