Volume Knob

Getting Started
Connect the supplied AC/DC adapter to the DC IN socket and then plug the other end to the mains socket. Turn the Volume Knob to power the unit on and extend the aerial found on the top of the DAB radio.
Installing Batteries
1. Switch off the radio and unplug it from the mains socket. Remove the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the radio. Insert 4 new C-size batteries, referring to the polarity markings inside the battery compartment. Note: Before installing batteries, ensure that the radio is disconnected from the mains supply. If you are not going to use the radio for an extended period, please remove the batteries to avoid damage. Never mix old and new batteries.

DAB Mode
Then your radio will go into DAB mode, or the last selected mode (ie: DAB or FM or AUX). If you want DAB mode, touch until DAB Mode appears.

How to search DAB Radio Stations Automatically
1. Touch the for Autotune Quick scan.
For initial use in DAB mode, your radio will now scan for DAB stations in your area and store the DAB stations in memory. A slide bar is displayed on the LCD, indicating the progress of the scan. Touch and hold for Autotune Full scan.
The radio will now perform a Full scan and store the DAB stations in memory. A slide bar is displayed on the LCD, indicating the progress of the scan. Once the scanning is completed, the DAB station name list will be displayed in alphanumeric order. The first station in the list will be selected. Turn the Tuning Knob to cycle through available stations, when your desired station appears, stop turning, your radio will tune to the selected station.
Note: If no DAB signal is found in your area, it may be necessary for you to relocate your radio. Alternatively, visit http://www. ukdigitalradio. com/coverage to check that DAB coverage is available in your area.

AUX IN Operation Mode
AUX IN allows for quick and easy connection to an MP3 player or other external sound sources.
1. Touch

2. Connect one end of the audio lead (not provided) to the headphone (or auxiliary out) socket of your source device, the other end connect to AUX IN socket on the right side of radio.
3. To gain optimal volume level, adjust the output volume level on both the source device and the radio.
