Open the front grill and remove the old filter. Throw away used filter (Note: filter is not washable) Remove new filter from plastic bag before installing. FILTER REPLACEMENT INFORMATION GENERAL PURPOSE - (HAPF200) SMOKE - (HAPF201) PET/BATHROOM - (HAPF202) KITCHEN - (HAPF203) REPLACING THE SCENTED ELECTRIC GEL CARTRIDGE Your scented electric gel cartridge should last 1-2 months. When the concentrate is nearly empty it is time to replace the cartridge. Remove old gel cartridge and throw away. Slowly remove peelable label from "New" gel cartridge using the peel tab. Place cartridge into unit with soft flexible side facing out. Turn the scent cartridge reminder dial ahead one month for heavy use and two months for light use. Make sure unit is off and remove from wall socket. To clean the exterior of the unit, wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Make sure you dry it thoroughly before returning unit to outlet. Do not use detergents or spray cleaners. Do not clean with gasoline, benzine, paint thinner or any other flammable chemicals. Do not immerse into water. SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS 1. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit. If you need to exchange the unit, please return it in its original package, with a sales receipt, to the store you purchased it. If you are returning the unit more than 30 days after the date of purchase, please see the enclosed warranty.
