To test the operation of the ALCI Safety Device, switch the heater ON at either the HI or LO setting. Press the TEST button on the ALCI device attached to the plug end of the line cord. The heater and fan should stop operating and the Power light should be extinguished. Press the RESET button on the ALCI device to resume normal operation of the heater. This devise should not be used on ON/OFF operation switch.
