The electronic system then regulates an actuator motor for the dosing pump and thereby ensures precise proportional dosing of the active solution across the whole operating range. The active solution is sucked out of the storage container and is injected into the pipework. At the same time the dosing frequency is indicated by flashing the LED's. An electronic level sensor switches the pump off if the solution in the storage container is too low and thereby protects the pump against dry running. The necessity for container replacement is signalled both visually and acoustically. If malfunction occurs, then the automatic control system prevents the risk of overdosing by shutting off the system.
