This booklet provides important guidelines for safe use, installation, maintenance and some useful advice for best results when using your machine. Keep all documentation in a safe place for future reference or for any future owners. Please check that the following items are delivered with the appliance: Instruction manual Guarantee card Blanking plug Inlet hose & hooked end support (see Unpacking and Installation Instructions) Base panel & x2 push clips Energy Label Your local council will be able to give you details of current means of disposal. [. . . ] The Inter@ct panel will then display the time to complete the programme and then the wash cycle will start. inter@ct calculates the time to the end of the selected programme based upon a standard 7 Kg load. During the cycle, Inter@ct corrects the time to that applicable to the size and composition of the load. This display also shows the current phase of the cycle and in the bottom right hand corner, the current time is displayed. This display will change throughout the wash programme as the cycle progresses. The programme may be paused at any time during the wash cycle by holding down the Départ/Pause button for about two seconds. A beep will then sound and a message will appear on the display to inform you that the programme has been paused. To cancel the programme the Départ/Pause button must be pressed down for 5 seconds. A beep will then sound and the display will first inform you that the programme has been paused and then that it has been cancelled. The Porte Sécurisée indicator light is illuminated when the door is fully closed and the machine is ON. When Départ/Pause is pressed on the machine with the door closed the indicator will flash momentarily and then illuminate. if the door is not closed the indicator will continue to flash. A special safety device prevents the door from being opened immediately after the end of the cycle. Wait for 2 minutes after the wash cycle has finished and the Porte Sécurisée light has gone out before opening the door. As a safety measure, check that there is no water evident in the drum. at the end of the cycle turn the programme selector to ARRÊT. If the programme is paused, the Porte Sécurisée indicator will go out after 2 minutes and the door can be opened. Check there is no water evident in the drum before opening the door. When starting a subsequent wash cycle the programme selector must be returned to ARRÊT prior to the next programme being selected and started. Press this button to reduce the intermediate spin speed to 400 rpm, where applicable; the water level is increased during rinsing and the washing is kept immersed in water after the final rinse in order to spread the fibres evenly. During the phase in which the water is held in the tub, the indicator lights to show that the machine is at a standstill. Release the button to end the cycle with a spin dry (which may be reduced or cancelled using the appropriate button) and emptying phase. [. . . ] To reduce noise and vibration and improve the machine's reliability and life, the machine is fitted with an electronic sensor that detects if the load is unbalanced. To improve the spin performance the load can be re-distributed by hand at the end of the cycle and then re-spun. Are there any loose items in the pockets of clothing that can rattle in the drum and cause damage?Some programmes do take a long time (over 2 hours). [. . . ]
