EXTRA-DELICATE BUTTON Press this button to reduce the number of drum revolutions from 55 to 40 revolutions per minute. This gives an extra-delicate wash, which is especially recommended for wool and very delicate fabrics. It is also recommended for mixed fabrics, articles which are not very dirty and for fabrics which do not need to be ironed. If this button is not pressed your machine will drain normally. To finish the programme with the spin cycle, press the button again to release it. Ensure that both shutters are perfectly aligned and properly closed. Next open the drum door following these instructions: Press catch (B) and kept it pressed down. Press the first shutter (C) to unlock the two shutters (C) and (D). Close the second shutter (D) so that the catch on the first shutter fits correctly into the slot. The detergent dispenser is divided into 4 compartments: -COMPARTMENT I is for prewash detergent, either liquid or powder. The wash cycle and rinses are carried out with high water levels to ensure best results. IMPORTANT: When washing heavy rugs, bed spreads and other heavy articles, it is advisable not to spin. To be machine-washed, woollen garments and other articles in wool must bear the "Pure New Wool" mark and the indication "will not shrink" or "machine washable".
