Fuses
Your appliance comes fitted with a plug and a 13A fuse. If you need to replace the fuse, only those rated at 13A and ASTA approved to BS1362 should be used. WARNING: Do not use the plug unless the fuse cover is fitted.
Changing the plug
Cut off and dispose of the supplied plug if it does not fit your socket. WARNING: To avoid a shock hazard do not insert the discarded plug into a socket anywhere else. [. . . ] Place objects in the dishwasher in such a way that: - Items such as cups, glasses, pots/pans, etc. - Curved items, or those with recesses, should be at a slant so that water can run off. - They are stacked securely and cannot tip over. - They do not prevent the spray arms from rotating while washing takes place.

Cutlery
Cutlery should always be inserted in random order with the blades pointing downwards (take care with knife blades). This enables the jet of water to reach the individual items more easily.

Shelf
Lean tall glasses and those with long stems against the shelf - not against other items to be washed.
Long items, serving cutlery, salad servers or knives should be placed on the shelf so that they do not obstruct the rotation of the spray arms. The shelf can be folded back when not required for use. 17

To improve stacking of pots and pans, the spikes can be folded down.
Long stemmed glasses can be placed against the zig-zag rack as shown below to stand securely during the wash.
Do not overload the appliance!It may reduce the quality of the wash.

Lower basket
The top basket can be inserted on either its upper or lower rollers, according to requirement. This enables more height to be gained for bigger dishes in either the top or bottom basket. WARNING To prevent damage to crockery or risk of injury, slowly pull the baskets out of the dishwasher, ensuring they remain in the basket runners. The effect is to reduce water consumption by approx. 4 litres when the dishes are only `slightly' dirty. -

Programming the timer
You can delay the start of a programme in increments of one hour for up to 24 hours. Immediately press the TIMER button 2 The numerical display 3 changes to -
Intensive drying function
Activating the intensive drying function increases the temperature during the rinseaid stage which gives better drying results. Press and hold the programme button, and set the mains switch 1 to ON. Either 1 (ON) or 0 (OFF) flashes in the numercial display 3 . Press the programme button to change the setting. The new setting is stored in the dishwasher memory.

Press the TIMER button as many times as necessary until the numerical display shows the required delay. To erase the time delay setting, keep pressing the TIMER button until 0 appears in the numerical display. You can change your programme selection as often as you like during the intervening period before the dishwasher starts up.
Cancel Programme (Reset)
Only when the mains switch is ON. Press the `Programme end' buttons 10 together and hold them for approx.
