[. . . ] Do not store the cartridge in direct sunlight or near magnetic fields. loading and unloading a DLT drive Consult your respective DLT drive user manual to obtain information on loading and unloading DLT cartridges. IMPORTANT: Make sure the leader position is correct (see Figure 1 below); if not, the cartridge is broken and should be discarded. Shake the cartridge gently; if you hear a rattling sound, discard. Broken cartridges can seriously damage your DLT drive and their use should be avoided.
