This white paper will describe the steps to install a highly available clustered version of Insight Manager 7 SP2, including ProLiant Performance Analyzer on a ProLiant Cluster running Windows 2000 Advanced Server. It will also describe the steps to upgrade an existing installation of Insight Manager 7 Service Pack 1. x to Insight Manager 7 SP2 on a ProLiant Cluster running windows 2000 Advanced Server. Note: Upgrading from versions prior to Insight Manager 7 Service Pack 1. x is not currently supported. [. . . ] The Installation Selections dialog box is displayed. NOTE: It is not necessary to the functionality of Insight Manager 7 SP2 to change the names of these disk groups. If you used a pre-existing installation of Microsoft SQL Server 2000, the disk group containing it would more than likely already be named something appropriate. 16 Clustering Insight Manager 7 SP2 on Windows 2000 Advanced Server Creating the Insight Manager 7 SP2 IP Address Resource NOTE: The disk group containing the Insight Manager 7 SP2 program files could also be used for other programs, but for the purposes of this paper Insight Manager 7 SP2 is the only application installed to the disk.
