Component replacement procedures 71 Remove the keyboard: 1. Turn the computer upside down, with the front toward you. Remove the Phillips PM2. 5×13. 0 screw that secures the keyboard to the computer. 3. 5. Turn the computer display-side up, with the front toward you. Remove the three Phillips PM2. 0×4. 0 screws (1) and the Phillips PM2. 0×3. 0 broad-head screw (2) that secure the keyboard to the computer. 6. Slide the keyboard (2) back to disengage the tabs on the front edge of the keyboard from the top cover and rest it on the display. 8. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the keyboard cable is attached and disconnect the keyboard cable (2). 9. Remove the keyboard. Reverse this procedure to install the keyboard. Component replacement procedures 73 Bluetooth module NOTE: The Bluetooth module spare part kit does not include a Bluetooth module cable. The Bluetooth module cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 480474-001. Description Bluetooth module Spare part number 483113-001 Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps: 1. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 54). Remove the switch cover (see Switch cover on page 69). Remove the keyboard (see Keyboard on page 71) Remove the following components: Remove the Bluetooth module: 1. Remove the two Phillips PM2. 0×4. 0 screws (1) that secure the Bluetooth module to the top cover. Release the Bluetooth module (2) as far as the Bluetooth module cable allows. Disconnect the Bluetooth module cable (3) from the Bluetooth module. 4. Remove the Bluetooth module. Reverse this procedure to install the Bluetooth module. 74 Chapter 4 Removal and replacement procedures Speaker assembly Description Speaker assembly Spare part number 480470-001 Before removing the speaker assembly, follow these steps: 1.
