At each host that was disconnected, log back in to the storage server using the appropriate procedure for your iSCSI initiator. Note: If the host has shadow copies enabled for the rolled back volume, refer to "Accessing a LU on a VSS volume" on page 180 for instructions on unlocking the LU for read/write access.

Deleting a snapshot
Under normal circumstances, you should not have to delete any snapshots. Older snapshots are automatically deleted when the number of supported snapshots is exceeded or when there is not sufficient space for the newer snapshots. However, if desired, you can delete snapshots manually. If a snapshot that you want to delete is mounted, you must dismount it or delete the corresponding LU before you can delete the snapshot. Access the list of snapshots: Click iSCSI --> Snapshots, select the LU or group whose snapshot you want to delete, and then click View Snapshots. Expand Storage Server iSCSI Feature Pack and click Logical Units and Groups. In the right pane, right-click the LU or group whose snapshot you want to delete, and then click Properties --> Snapshot. The screen lists all existing snapshots for the selected LU or group, identified by the date and time when the snapshot was taken. Select the snapshots that you want to delete. If the snapshot is mounted (as indicated by the presence of a name in the Mounted As column), have any connected hosts disconnect and then click Dismount. Alternatively, you can delete the mounted snapshot from the list of logical units (as described in "Deleting LUs" on page 54). This disconnects any connected hosts automatically. (If you're using the Console, click Yes. )

Working with group members
Most of the actions that you can perform on a LU or group--enabling, disabling, mounting, dismounting, copying, and rolling back snapshots--can also be performed on individual members of a group. Notes:
You cannot take a snapshot of an individual member of a group or schedule automatic snapshots of that member if snapshots are enabled for the entire group. If you disable snapshots for a member of a group for which snapshots are enabled, that member is removed from the group.
To work with members of a group: Click iSCSI --> Snapshots, select the group that contains the LU that you want to work with, and then click View Group. Expand Storage Server iSCSI Feature Pack --> Logical Units and Groups and click Logical Units. The right pane displays a list of all the LUs, and the Group column indicates which group each LU belongs to (if any). For more information about each task that you can perform, refer to the appropriate sections of this appendix.

Viewing or changing snapshot properties
For each LU or group for which snapshots are enabled, you can view a number of snapshot properties. Most of this information is for viewing only. [. . . ] Be sure to save the configuration file to a secure place. Manually fail over the server to its partner node in the cluster. For more information, refer to "Forcing a failover" on page 169.
