WWNs are 16-digit hexadecimal numbers used to identify HBAs. For details on how to find WWNs, see HP StorageWorks XP24000/XP20000 Auto LUN Manager User's Guide. Ensure that all HBAs connected to ports in the storage system are monitored. Use the WWN tab of the Performance Control window to define which port is connected to which HBA. Place icons for HBAs connected to each port below the Monitor icons. In network B, each of the four ports is connected to three HBAs (wwn01, wwn02, and wwn03). Place the HBA icons of wwn01, wwn02, and wwn03 below the Monitor icons for all the four port icons (shown in Figure 9 on page 33).
