Bydefault, longemailmessagesthatyoureceivecontainsonlythefirstfew kilobytesofthemessage. Whenyouopenanemail, itdisplaysonlytheheadersand partofthemessage. Youmustdownloadthewholeemailtoviewthecomplete content. Todownloadacompleteemailmessage, opentheemail, andthendooneofthe following: · Scrolldowntotheendofthemessage, andthentapGet entire message and any attachments(POPemailaccount)ortapGet the rest of this message (IMAP4andOutlookemailaccounts). · TapMenu > Download Message.
Note Downloadmaytakesometime, dependingonthespeedofyourInternetconnection, sizeofthewholeemail, andwhetherfileattachmentsareautomaticallydownloaded.
Fromtheemailmessageyouareviewing, tapthesender'sphotowhenyouwant toaccessthesender'scontactinformation. Ifthesenderoranotherrecipientofthis emailisnotinyourstoredcontacts, youcantaptheperson'snameandthentap Save to Contactstosavetheperson'semailaddresstoyourphonecontacts. Downloading file attachments

Dependingonyourtypeofemailaccount, yourphonemayormaynot automaticallydownloadfileattachmentswiththeemailmessages. POP3 email account: Fileattachmentsareautomaticallydownloadedwiththeemailmessage. IMAP4 and Outlook email accounts: Fileattachmentsappearbelowthesubjectofanemailmessage. Tappingan attachmentopenstheattachmentifithasbeenfullydownloadedormarksit fordownloadthenexttimeyousendandreceiveemail. Youcansetautomaticdownloadoffileattachments. See"Customizingemail settings"inthischapterfordetails.
Directly making calls from email messages
Youcandirectlyplaceacalltothesenderofan emailmessageifthesender'sphonenumberis storedinyourcontacts. FromtheHomescreen's Mailtab, Inbox, oranopenmessage, pressthe TALK/SENDbutton. ThePhonedialerscreen thenopens, withthesender'sphonenumber automaticallyfilledinandreadytobedialed. Youcanalsotaplinksinthemessagebody tocallthedisplayednumber, sendemail, and accessawebsite.

Synchronizing email messages
