Ifboththepre-filterandfilterindicatorsare lit, theresetkeywillfirstturnoffthepre-filterindicator. Then, youmustrelease theresetkeyandthenpressandholdthefilterresetkeyagainforthreesecondsto turnoffthefilterindicator. Toresetthepre-filterorfiltertimersbeforetheindicatorsarelit: Insomeenvironments, youmaywanttochangethepre-filterorfiltermorefrequently thanindicatedbythefilterindicators. Thisprocedureallowsyoutoresetthepre-filter orfiltercounterbeforetheindicatorsarelit. Changethefilterand/orpre-filterasdescribedintheMaintenancesectionof themanual. Now, youmustchoosewhichtimeryouwanttoreset. Pressandholdthefilter resetkey(approximatelythreeseconds)untilthepre-filterindicatorflashes. Press theresetkeyagaintoalternatebetweenthetwoindicators. Thetimerthatwillbe resetisdesignatedbytheflashingindicator. Onceyouhavethecorrectindicatorflashing, pressandholdtheresetkeyforthree secondstoresetthattimertozerohours. Cleantheoutsideoftheunitwithasoft, dampcloth. Thefrontgrillcanberemoved andcleanedinsoapywater. Removethepre-filterbeforecleaningthefrontgrill. At least every 90 days, replace the carbon pre-filter. Thisisnecessarytomaintainproperodorremovingandoverallfiltrationperformance. Ifnecessary, itcan bechangedmoreoften. Markthenewfilterinstallationstickerincludedwiththe newcarbonpre-filter. Be sure to remove any plastic wrapping that may be on the new filter before you place it in the Air Purifier. Whilereplacingthepre-filter, youshouldviewtheconditionofthe HEPAtech® Filter. Comparethefiltertothecolorcodedchartthatisontheinsideofthehousing. Ifthefiltermatchesthedarkcoloronthechart, youshouldremovethefilter andreplaceitwithanewfilter. Markthenewfilterinstallationstickerincluded withthenewHEPAtech®Filter. Depending on use and environment, the HEPAtech® Filter should last four to six months. Gentlypullonthefiltertoremoveitfromtheunit. Whileremovingthefilter, note thedirectionalarrowsprintedonthetopofthefilter. Thenewfilterwillbeinstalledwiththesameorientation.
