1. Thishumidifiermaynotworkproperly onanunevensurface. aLWaYSplace thishumidifieronafirm, level, andwater resistantsurface. aLWaYSplacethe humidifieratleastsix(6)inchesawayfrom wallsandheatsources, suchasstoves,  radiators, orheaters. aLWaYSplacethehumidifierinanarea thatisoutofthereachofchildren.  [. . . ] WheninitiallyturnedONafterbeing pluggedin, thehumidifierwill`beep' andalliconsonthescreenwillbe temporarilyilluminated. Afterafew seconds, theLCDiconswillturnOFF,  andtheunitwillbeinstandbymode withthebacklightOFF. PressingPOWERoncewillsettheunit toHIandturnthebacklightON. The LCDscreenwilldisplaytheContinue message("CO%")whichmeansthe unitwillbecontinuouslyonHIuntil setotherwise. Afterafewseconds, the currentroomhumidityandtheROOM messagewillbedisplayed. Iftheunitispluggedinandhasbeen turnedONonce, turningtheunitOFF andbackONwilldisplaytheRelative Humidity(RH)valuelastused. . 

LIGHT

WhentheunitisON, allbacklightswill remainON. SeTTInG­Thehumidifierhastwo settings:HIandLOW. PresstheSETTING buttonandtheunitwillloopsettings (HI-LOW-HI)whiletherespectiveiconis illuminated. uP ­EachtimetheUPbuttonis pressed, theRHvaluewillincrease by5%. doWn­EachtimetheDOWNbutton ispressed, theRHvaluewilldecrease by5%. ReSeT­Whenthewaterlevelistoo low, theunitwillturnitselfOFF. Pressing theRESETbuttonwillreactivatetheunit afteryouhaverefilledthetank. nITe GLoTM­PresstheNITEGLO buttontoturnthebluenightlight ONorOFF.

Whentheunitisinnormal mistingmode, themistingiconwillbe illuminated. continuous Indicator: WhentheLCD screendisplaystheCO%message, it willalsoilluminatethecontinuousicon,  indicatingthehumidifierisworking continuously. Refill Warning: Whenthewaterlevel istoolow, theheaterwillstop. Therefill iconwillblinktoindicatethatthetank needstoberefilled. Afterrefillingthe watertank, youmustpresstheRESET buttontoreactivatetheunit. humidity Set Range:Humiditymay besetbetween40%RHand85%RH inincrementsof5%. Ifthehumidityis sethigherthan85%, theLCDscreen willdisplaytheCO%RHmessage,  indicatingthehumidifierissettowork continuously.

TheLCDscreen willdisplaytheSETmessageandthe digitsonthescreenwillblinkfortwo secondsuntilyouchangethesetting. Oncethehumiditylevelisset, theLCD screenwilldisplaythecurrentroom humidityandtheROOMmessage.
