Your new liner is custom molded to fit your vehicle.  [. . . ] In colder climates this "relaxing" may take longer; moving the liner inside will speed up the process. Your liner is manufactured using an engineering resin that is lightweight and extremely tough and durable. The easiest way to clean your liner is with a damp cloth or sponge. If using a cleaner,  409® or Glass Plus® work well. Use of Armor All®,  Son-of-a-Gun® or similar items is discouraged as these products make the liner slick. 

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR CHEVROLET HHR CARGO LINER

TO ACCESS YOUR HHR'S FRONT CARGO TIE-DOWN HOOKS WITH YOUR LINER IN PLACE,  SIMPLY MAKE A HORIZONTAL SLIT ACROSS THE CENTER OF THE TWO RAISED BANDS (ONE EACH SIDE,  SHOWN ABOVE CIRCLED). THEN,  PUSH/PULL THE CARGO TIE-DOWN HOOKS UP THROUGH THE SLITS.  [. . . ] A UTILITY KNIFE WILL WORK WELL FOR TRIMMING. 

NOTE: CARGO LINER PART #2139 IS DESIGNED TO FIT IN YOUR HHR WITH THE ADJUSTABLE CARGO SHELF IN ITS LOWERED POSITION.
