Thank you for the purchase of your new Hummer H3 spare tire cover.  [. . . ] Repeat this installation on each of the 4 notched and predrilled locations on the tire base plate (fig 2).

2. Install catch insert and catch to the spare tire faceplate with screw through the front side of catch,  into the predrilled holes on the faceplate,  and finally through the catch insert (textured side against faceplate). Fasten with a washer and nut using a flat head screwdriver and 5/16" wrench (fig 3). Repeat this installation on each of the 4 predrilled locations on the faceplate (fig 4).

Spare Tire Cover Installation: 3. Remove lug nuts and spare tire from spare tire rack (fig 5). Install Base Plate on lugs with the narrow spaced latches at the top and the wide spaced latches at the bottom,  this will allow for proper Faceplate alignment (fig 6). Place tire on lugs and fasten lug nuts (fig 7). Attach Spare Tire Faceplate with "C design" running horizontal from center to the right hand/ passenger side of vehicle (fig 7).  [. . . ] Pry up a corner of the pad/strip and peel slowly to ensure that the entire pad is removed.
