FUEL FILTER CLAMP
ENGINE
LUBRICATION Change the oil after every 25 hours of operation or at least once a year if the tractor is not used for 25 hours in one year. Refer to engine manual.
CLEAN AIR SCREEN
Air screen must be kept free of dirt and chaff to prevent engine damage from overheating. Clean with a wire brush or compressed air to remove dirt and stubborn dried gum fibers. 14
ENGINE COOLING FINS
Remove any dust, dirt or oil from engine cooling fins to prevent engine damage from overheating. See engine manual.
CLEANING
• Clean engine, battery, seat, finish, etc. • Keep finished surfaces and wheels free of all gasoline, oil, etc. • Protect painted surfaces with automotive type wax. We do not recommend using a garden hose to clean your unit unless the electrical system, muffler, air filter and carburetor are covered to keep water out. Water in engine can result in a shortened engine life.
AIR FILTER
Your engine will not run properly and may be damaged by using a dirty air filter. Remove cartridge every 25 hours and tap gently to clean. Replace paper cartridge once a year or after every 100 hours of operation, more often if used in very dusty, dirty conditions. • Remove cartridge nut and clean or replace cartridge. NOTE: Do not attempt to oil the paper cartridge. See engine manual.
