To receive full value from the warranty, operator must maintain tiller as instructed in this manual. Some adjustments will need to be made periodically to properly maintain your tiller. All adjustments in the Service and Adjustments section of this manual should be checked at least once each season. • Once a year you should replace the spark plug, clean or replace air filter, and check tines and belt for wear. A new spark plug and clean air filter assure proper air-fuel mixture and help your engine run better and last longer. Change the oil after every 50 hours of operation or at least once a year if the tiller is not used for 50 hours in one year. Check the crankcase oil level before starting the engine and after each five (5) hours of continuous use. Tighten oil filler plug securely each time you check the oil level. 11 and 12) Determine temperature range expected before oil change.
