Neodymium provides more magnetic energy in a smaller space, which reduces overall weight, and is inherently magnetically shielded. TESTED TO ENSURE THEY'LL STAND UP Infinity subwoofers are tested according to the strictest and most demanding reliability-testing regimen ever designed for car audio speakers. They are shaken, baked, frozen and dropped, all while they're operating, and attempts are even made to THREE-INCH-DIAMETER VOICE COILS provide plenty of heat-dissipating surface area for high power handling. Many other woofers at comparable prices use smaller, 2-inch coils. Kappa woofers handle more power. destroy them with signals up to 10 times their rated power.
