Always submerge the pump in water first, and then plug in the unit. Fill base with distilled water to approximately 1/2" above pump. Tap water will create mineral deposits that will result in the corruption of the Waterfall and pump. Place the top of Waterfall on base properly. Plug adapter into 120V household outlet. To avoid danger of choking keep small stones away from Children and Pets. The product is designed for indoor use only. Do not use outdoors.
NOTE: Ensure that the electrical cord loop is below the electrical outlet. " This will prevent water from running down the cord into the electrical outlet.
