MODE : Continue in another function 4. 4 The function target calories and daily cal (SETCAL/DAYCAL) In the top display, you can set a kcal consumption as your daily target. A bar display is operated with this value at the very top in the display. This displays in 10% steps where you are in regard to your target. Your daily consumption in kcal is displayed as a kcal value in the lower display. Resetting to zero in the STEP/TIME mode (see Chapter 4. 1) or automatically at the end of the day (at 24:00). The key functions in this display are: SET : into the setting mode of target calories and continue to next point to be set UP/CLR : in the target calories setting mode change of the flashing position DOWN : in the target calories setting mode change of the flashing position MODE : Continue in another function 12 | ENGLISH ENGLISH | 13 5. Change of battery - The cover of the battery compartment is located under the clip on the reverse of the device. Lift this clip up and loosen the screw that fastens the lid of the battery compartment. [. . . ] Never use volatile substances such as benzene, thinner, cleansing agents in spray cans etc. - When the device is not being used store it in a dry area and out of the reach of small children. - If the device is activated under extreme coldness it may occur that the display becomes illegible.
