Introduction
The Jamo AT-101 Audio Stereo Attenuator with automatch can be used as a volume control for up to 64 pairs of speakers. [. . . ] If terminals are colour coded, RED is POSITIVE (+) and BLACK is NEGATIVE (-). For installation of more than 1 pair of speakers see , , Impedance matching". SET-UP Before turning on the amplifier turn the amplifier volume to minimum. Turn the AT-101(s) to maximum volume (clockwise). Turn the amplifier on and slowly turn up the volume to the highest desired level without distortion from the speakers. The volume of all speakers are now controlled by the AT-101(s) and the amplifier volume control should not be used.
IMPEDANCE MATCHING 1. Identify the impedance of your speakers and the impedance requirements of your amplifier 2. Find the tabel which matches your speakers and your amplifier 3. Set the jumbers on the AT-101's according to the table. The jumber settings are determined by the AT-101 with the largest numbers of speakers connected AT-101 JUMBER SETTINGS Each AT-101 in the system must have the same jumber setting when the tables below are used When using speakers with different impedances, consider all speakers to be the same as the lowest impedance speaker.
