The final spin is foreseen only for cotton items as in the spin programme. Soak 30° This is a special programme for heavily soiled laundry. The machine performs a soak of about 20 minutes at 30°C. At the end of the soak time the machine will stop automatically with water left in the tub. Pour the detergent for the soak programme into the compartment marked . This programme cannot be used for very delicate fabrics or Wool. Before starting a new washing phase, it is necessary to empty out the water by: · Draining only: turn the programme selector dial to "Drain" programme". (Depress the "Start/Pause" button). · Draining and spin: turn the programme selector dial to programme "Spin", reduce the spin speed by means of the "Spin" button, and then depress "Start/Pause" button. · At the end of the soak (after having emptied out the water) you can select the washing programme. First turn the programme selector dial to "Off", then select the programme and depress the "Start/Pause" button. · With programme "Soak 30°" it is possible to select the delay start only up to a maximum of 10 hours and it corresponds to the soak time of the laundry in the drum. Drain For emptying out the water of the programme "Soak 30°" or at the end of a programme with the "Rinse hold" option. Turn first the programme selector dial to "Off", then select the "Drain" programme and depress the "Start/Pause" button. Spin Separate long spin at the max speed for hand washed garments. You can reduce the speed by means of "Spin" button to adapt it to the fabrics to be spun. 30 Minute wash This is a complete programme that can be combined with the following options: Spin speed reduction, "Rinse hold" and "Delay start". Now a new programme can be selected. 18 Operating Sequence Before the first wash, we recommend that you run a cotton cycle at 90°C, without any laundry in the machine, to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub.
