To ensure that the 2-stage frothing nozzle works perfectly, it should be rinsed regularly (refer to Chapter 4 `Maintenance ­ Dismantling and rinsing the 2-stage frothing nozzle'). HEATING READY appears as soon as the ENA is Z STRONG Temperature: NORMAL, HIGH The following applies when preparing 2 coffees: Z The amount of water set for 1 coffee is dispensed per cup when 2 cups are prepared. Z 2 coffees are always prepared with the coffee strength `mild'. Z 2 coffees are prepared at the same temperature which is set for 1 coffee. Default settings in programming mode always follow the same model. Example: Changing the default setting for the strength of one coffee from NORMAL to STRONG. 48 ENA 5 Precondition: READY appears on the display. T Open the cover behind the Rotary Switch. P T Press the P button until RINSE appears. g T Turn the Rotary Switch until PRODUCT is displayed. k T Press the Rotary Switch to enter the programme item. U Before coffee or hot water is prepared, the machine heats up. Example: Changing the energy-saving mode from ENERGY - to ENERGY p. Precondition: READY appears on the display. T Open the cover behind the Rotary Switch. PRODUCT READY Automatic switch-off You can save energy with the automatic switchoff function on the ENA. E The automatic switch-off time can be adjusted between 0. 5 and 9 hours or deactivated (--- HRS). k T Press the Rotary Switch to exit programming mode.
