These DAP modes can be used to add acoustic surround effects while reproducing 2 channel stereo software, either analogue or Linear PCM digital signal, and can give you a real "being there" feeling. All Channel Stereo This mode can reproduce a larger stereo sound field using all the connected (and activated) speakers. All Channel Stereo can be used when the front and surround speakers are connected to this receiver without respect to the center speaker connection.
