You can play a disc from the desired position by specifying the elapsed time from the beginning of the disc use the TIME SEARCH function. Use the number buttons (0~9) to enter the time.
The specified time appears in the message area. Example (for DVD): To playback from 2(H):34(M):00(S) You do not have to press "0" to enter the trailing zeros (for the last two digits in the example). Of course, it is possible to enter them. You can specify the time in hour/minute/second format for DVD discs, and in minute/second format for Audio and Video CDs.

When the disc contains more than 9 titles, chapters, or tracks, the digest screen will have more than one page. In this case, display a different page of the digest with the method described below.

The image will pause.

To return to the regular display before pressing ENTER in step 3:
Press DIGEST again.
Pressing will playback your selection in slow motion, starting from the paused frame. Pressing 1 will playback your selection in reverse slow motion (DVD only). Each time you press either button during slow-motion, the playback speed will increase as follows: Forward: 1/32 = 1/16 = 1/8 = 1/4 = 1/3 = 1/2 Reverse: 1/16 = 1/12 = 1/8 = 1/4 = 1/3 Pausing slow-motion playback Press PAUSE to pause slow-motion playback. Restoring regular playback Press PLAY to resume normal playback.

Press PAUSE continuously to display continuous photos.
When the screen appears displaying the nine pictures, release PAUSE. [. . . ] Lightning or electronic noise interferes with operation of the microcomputer. Immediately after beginning to heat the room, the unit was moved to a cold location causing condensation to form inside. Switch power off, and remove and re-insert the power plug in the socket. Switch power off and leave the unit a few hours before switching power on again.
