The player can play back MP3/WMA/JPEG/MPEG-4 (Simple profile) files on a personally recorded media as follows: CD-R/RW, memory card, commercially available CD The player can also play back MPEG-4 (Advanced simple profile) and DivX files recorded on CD-R/RW, DVD-R/-RW. Some DVD-R and DVD-RW discs mastered as multi border (multi-session) may not be compatible with the player. You can select and play back files using the Control display on the TV screen. [. . . ] Used on Super VHS, DVD, high end TV monitors, etc. Track The smallest division on SVCD, Video CD and Audio CD discs. WMA WMA is an abbreviation of "Windows Media Audio, " and is an audio data compression format developed by Microsoft Corporation. Sound quality of data compressed using WMA is the same as that of MP3, though the WMA file size is smaller than that of MP3.
