[. . . ] IN USE INDICATOR This LED will light when you lift the receiver ­ showing you the phone is connected. This will also serve to remind you if the receiver is off the hook or not properly seated in the base. When the phone rings, the LED light will flash until you lift the receiver. LAST NUMBER REDIALING The last number you called can be redialed automatically. This is useful especially if the number you are calling is busy. Pick up the receiver or press the SPEAKERPHONE button to get a new dial tone. If you have any difficulty getting a dial tone, do the following: · Press the Hook Switch or hang up the phone for 2 seconds ­Or- · Press "FLASH". This phone will remember the last number dialed even overnight. If you do not want the number to reside in the phone memory, pick up the phone receiver and press any 12/30/20039:53 AM Page6 number. MUSIC ON-HOLD BUTTON To put your party on hold position, press the HOLD button. A pre-programmed music selection will play automatically for the party on hold. You can list these numbers in the index space provided on the console. Replace the handset or press the SPEAKER button. DIALING A NUMBER FROM 3-ONE TOUCH (M1/M2/M3) MEMORIES Get dial tone (by picking up handset or pressing the SPEAKER button) and press one of the 3 buttons marked with the symbols (M1/M2/M3) DIALING A NUMBER FROM AUTODIAL MEMORY 1. Lift the handset or press the SPEAKER button. Press the numerical button assigned to the number you wish to dial.
