The lens should be cleaned using a commercially available camera lens blower, etc. Do not touch the lens to prevent damaging the mechanism. Also do not use a lens cleaner or disc cleaner product. Care of main unit When the unit gets dirty, clean with a soft, dry cloth. If the unit is stained seriously, a moistened cloth can be used. Do not use benzine or thinner for these will damage the unit. Cleaning the plug Wipe the headphone plug with a soft cloth to keep it clean. A dirty plug may cause noise or malfunction. Caution on disc used Usable discs This unit is capable of playing back the Audio CD discs, CD-R/CD-RW (CD-DA) discs and discs carrying the marking. 8 cm single CDs can be played as they are; do not use a commercially-available single CD adapter.
