Easy Pairing function • KDC-U549BT only. 1 Press and hold to enter easy pairing mode “PAIRING” is displayed. ■ Any of the following is displayed depending on cell-phone registration condition: – “SEARCHING”: When registering a cellphone for the first time. – “(cell-phone name)”: When a cell-phone has already been registered. – “DEVICE FULL”: When maximum of five cell-phones have already been registered. When registering a cell-phone for the first time, registering a cell-phone 2 “SEARCHING” is displayed. When search is completed, “FINISHED” is displayed. 3 Turn the volume knob to select a cellphone name, press to confirm. 4 Input the PIN code ■ Turn the volume knob to select the number. ■ To move to the next digit, press ¢. 5 Press the volume knob to transmit the PIN code. If “PAIRING OK” is displayed, registration is completed. When “CONFIRM PHONE” is displayed, confirm connection with a cell-phone operation. 6 The receiver is connected to a cell-phone, with “HF CONNECT” displayed, and exits the easy pairing mode. ■ If an error code is displayed during paring, see <Troubleshooting> (page 34).
