Use 16 gauge (AWG), two conductor, copper wire at a minimum and larger gauge wire for longer runs. Use either pair of positive and negative terminals keeping the metal coupling straps in place. With all connection types, take care that there is no contact between the positive and negative terminals at the speaker and amplifier. ) Some models are equipped with two pairs of connection terminals for bi-wire hookup and enhanced performance.
